Porsche GT3-Powered 911 R
The Porsche released the 911 GT3, it received endless flack from people because a manual gearbox wasn't even an option. Porsche's reasoning was that the car was faster without the manual gearbox, and since it's a track car, the speed is what matters.
The inner workings at Stuttgart has told Road & Track that there will indeed be a limited production (Update: A source tells us Porsche will build 600 of these cars, total), manual-only 911 powered by the 3.8 liter engine from the 911 GT3. It'll be called the 911 R.
